HAMILTON, Tuesday. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, report on their weekly Frankton fat" stock sale held to-day as follows: — Cattle: The fairly heavy yarding of ox beef for which there was a steady demand realised values barely up to last weekrs advanced rates, but on a par with previous quotations. Although a heavy ' offering of cow beef changed hands, values were practically on a par with late rates for all classes offered. Store and boner cows show no change in prices. Quotations: Heavy fat bullocks made from £6 4s to £7 7s; average quality, £5 5s to £6 6s lighter do £3 9s to £4 15s; prime fat cows, £3 10s to £4; average quality, £3 to £3 7s 6d; lighter, £2 5s to £2 15s; light, £2 to £2 5s; killable, 34s to 39s stores, 19s to 25s; boners, 14s to 18s;. runners, £2 17s to £3 5s; poorer sorts £1 18s to £2 10s. . sheep: The yarding of fat ewes and wethers, the majority of which were of only average quality, maintained late rates under steady competition. Fat lambs were yarded in large numbers and no alteration in values is reported. Quotations: Fat wethers 12s 4d to 14s, lighter quality do. 10s ld to 11s 9d, light do. 9s 6d to 10s, prime fat ewes 6s 6d to 7s 6d, fat ewes 5s ld to 6s 3d, lighter quality do. 4s 9d to 5s 3d, prime lambs 14s 6d, average quality do. 11s to 13s 6d, lighter do. 9s to 11s. Pigs: Another heavy yarding of fat pigs came forward. An appreciable advance on late rates is reported on the prices ohtained from baconers, while for porkers late rates were fully maintained. There was no variation on late rates for an average entry of store and weaner pigs. Quotations: Heavy baconers £1 18s to £2 2s, medium baconers £1 14s to £1 17s, light baconers and heavy porkers £2 6s to £2 8s, light porkers £1 to £1 2s, large stores 10s to 12s, slipS 5s to 7s, weaners 2s 6d to 4s.
