PRUNE CAKE 6ozs. butter, 6ozs. sugar, 2ozs. honey, 2 eggs, 1 cup milk, 2 heaped cups flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder, \ teaspoon lemon juice pinch salt. Soak prunes in hot water for half an hour, then dry, stone and chop up small. Sift dry ingredients together. .. Cream butter, sugar and honey. Add wellbeaten eggs, then flour, milk, and prunes.
