Boil /together 1 pint of milk, 3oz sugar, ioz isinglass (soaked 1 minutes), and lloz arrowroot for a few minutes; cake ofF fire, add flavouring and stift'ly beaten whites of 4 eggs; pour mixture' over cakes in the mould, and allow to cool; when ,cold and set firmly turn out of mould into a glass dish, decorate with strips of blanehed almonds stuck in, and pour custard over. Custard to be made from the yolks and allowed to get quite cold before using.
