PRESS ASSOCIATION ACTION AGAINST BROADCASTING STATIONS AUCKLAND, Thursday. At the annual meeting . of the United Pf eiss Assdciation, 'the chairman, Mr. A. M. Burns, said the pirating of Press Association copyright teleg'rams and c'ables hy the broadcasting stations had' a'ssumed disquieting pr'oportioris. With a view to che'cking the practice he suggested that the proprietors observe carefulfy what is put on the air'by the local stations, and report to the management particulars of an'y infringemenfc of copyright. Action could then be taken to protect fbe rights of the asspciation and proprietors.
