OUTRAGE AT FOXFIELD

LONDON, Sunday. Mf. Patrick Reynolds, a Governl ment candidate and an ex-member of the Dail, and' Detective McGeehan, were shot dead at Foxfield (County Leitrim). Mr. li. Reynolds and Detective McGeehan were killed with a doublebarrelled shotgun. A man riamed Joseph Leddy, a Royal Irish Constabulary pensioner, has been arrested and charged with the otitrage. ■ Reynolds, who was addressing a meeting- a,t Carrick before going to Foxfield, said those electors voting for him and otlier Government candidates would help to secure a Government which would bring peace and happiness, law and order.
