— By Telegraph — -Copyright.)

SYDNEY, Tuesday. Colonel Campbell, the leader of the New Guard, was fined £2 or five days' imprisonment for using insulting words coneerning the Premier (Mr Lang). The Magistrate, Mr. Laidlaw, in his judgment, said: "I have no doubt in the least that some of the words the defendant used in reference to the Premier were of an insulting nature. The evidence is sufficiently convincing to satisfy me beyond reasonable doubt that the police officers were offended by the words used.
