CALCUTTA, Monday. More disturbances have oceurred at Bombay where an angry mob at- , tacked police with bottles and stones. The crowd held up the trams removed the street signs, and smashed | the lamps. The rioters were finally dispersed by a baton charge in which 40 were injured. Many were arrested. A crowd of hooligans later wreck1 ed a police shelter. ! Armed police are now patrolling ' the streets. The situation improved at Kashmir after the State troops at many centres had fired on the crowds who attacked them. Several were killed and wounded.
