"Singin' in the Bath Tub" and splashin' their way home in the tub raee at Cochrane Park on Anniversary Day. A novel idea for souvenirs of the old Wellington College which was demolished last year has been put into practice hy a Wellington violin maker. He obtained suitahle pieces of kauri from the old building and fashioned a number of ulculeles. The maker stated that although kauri was not the favourite material for ukuleles, the result had been gratifying, and he instruments possessed a tone which had received very favourable comment.
