SATURDAY'S RESULTS
In excellent weather and with the rinks playing on the fast side the Saturday matches of the Rotorua Bowling Club were continued. There were no very evenly contested games in the singles section, but some of the pairs matches were fought to the final head. Results are as follows: Singles — Fowkes 22 beat Polglase 17; Wash 26 beat Lee 9; Pratt 17 beat Budd 12; Lindsay 22 beat Lasenby 12 Pairs: Brownie and Polglase 20 beat Queenin and Lindsay 18; Plummer and Tapp 26 beat McDowell and Wash 18; Webber and Williams 24 beat Corbett and Griffiths 13; Butt and Bertram 25 beat Shepherd and Herd 16; Knaggs and Kelly 33 beat Robinson and James 8.
