Rec. Jan. 10, 5.5 p.m. WASHINGTON, Saturday. General C .G. Dawes has announced that he will resign his appointment as Ambassador to Great Britain after serving as member of the United States delegation at the Geneva Disarmament Conference. A Chicago report states that General DaWes steppe'd off the train on Saturday and in 13 words dismissed all questions as to whether he will be a potential candidate for the presidency. "It is all — — - nonsense ; there is nothing in it; I won't even discuss it," he said. ■
