LONDON NEWSPAPER'S PLAN TO MUZZLE BRADMAN "SIDE INVINCIBLE WITH HIM"

Rec. Jan. 5, 7.0 p.m. LONDON, Tuesday. The "News Chronicle," in a leader, says that while Australia possesses Bradman, she is apparently irvincible. "The authorities might take a hint from billards in order to maintain the eompetitive spirit of cricket," the newspaper proceeds. "As soon as a player invents a shot capable of producing unlimited points, they legally limit the use of it. It is almost time to request the legal limitation of the number of runs Bradman should be permitted to, make."
