THEFT CHARGES AGAINST BANKRUPT FORMER SOLICITOR

NEW PLYMOUTH, Tuesday. Pleading not guilty to nine eharges of theft, involving £41 6/3', George Grey, a bankrupt, and formerly a solicitor, was to-day, committed to the Supreme Court for trial. Twenty-eight witnesses were heard in the two days' preliminary hearing. Bail was renewed.
