Rec. Dec. 15, 5.5 p.m. LONDON, Monday. The prohibition of French imports owing to the Colorado Beetle ravage, the wet season, and blight in England, are bringing the United Kingdom face to face with a potato famine which will be intensified during 1932, through inability to obtain healthy seed even at £25 a ton, compared with £1 a ton in 1929.
