OTTAWA, Thursday. The Canadian Railways have informed the Department of Labour that they are willing to conduct further negotiations with representatives of their employees, with a view to maldng effective the report of the Conciliation Board. As expected, the report has been accepted by the companies. Whether negotiations may result in a compromise remains to be seen. The general cbairman of the employees' organisation has stated that they are unable to accept the conciliation recommendations and have referred the question to the employees for a vote.
