employees make strong protest to labour department CUT TO OPERATE FROM NOV 15 OTTAWA, Thursday. The Hon. Jairifes Murdoch, vicepresident of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen, states that the railway systems have advised representatives of the running trades that the 10 per cent cut in wages will be made from Novembef 15, and a protest on behalf of the men has been made to the Labour Department. •' Mr. Murdoch deciared that the railways' action is illegal, having regard to the Industrial Disputes Investiga!tion Act.
