Rec. Nov. 29, 5.5 p.m. NEW YORK, Saturday. Oarnera (19st 0|lb) knocked out Gampolo (16st 0£lb) - in the sqcond of a scheduled. 15-round fight which, though hrief, was a scorcher for the first spell. Campolo won the first xound easily by subj ecting the Italian to terrific punishment. Carnera promptly recovered. and returned to knock out- Campolo with a right to the jaw. ^ Carnera's speed was amazing in view of his bulk.
