Nov. 20, 9.35 p.m. MELBOURNE, Friday. £ir Commodore Kingsford Smith was subje.cted to a thorough examination by an air-force doctor, who expressed the opinion that his illness on the Australia-England flight was due to carbon-monoxide fumes deflected from his aeroplane exhaust into the cock-pit.
