' TREASURE ON SUNKEN STEAMER EGYPT DIVER ENTERS STRONGROOM
-By TeJ^graph — Copyright.)
Rec. Nov. 18, 7.0 p.m. LONDON, Tuesday. A message from aboard the salvage ship Artiglio states that a diver entered the bullion room of the sunken Egypt for the first time to-day. Although the light was bad and nothing was clearly distinguishable, he saw dimly gleaming below him something of a lighter colour than the walls of the room, probably the top layer of boxes of silver bars. Soundings showed that the bullion room is full to within two feet of the roof. The contents are apparently undisturbed.
