— By Telegraph— Copyright).

Fairfax, the New South Wales cricketer, who has accepted a three-years' contract with the Accrington Cricket Club, Lancashire, but deplores the factors which make such importation bf players practicahle. • Australia, he says, cannot alford to lose a bowler whose method and physique is suited to Test match play. It is no exaggeration to say that Australia's loss is greater than Accrington's gain. Accrington was the club which had been negotiating for Don Bradman's services.
