STRONG MARKET IN SYDNEY

Rec. Nov. 16, 5 p.m. SYDNEY, Monday. At the wool saies 11,475 bales were offered and 10,515 sold, in addition to 1054 disposed of privately. Yorkshire and Japan competed strongly at prices about on a par with last week. Greasy merino made up to 20d. The average price of wool sold in Sydney last week was £12 16s lOd per bale, or 9.89d per lb. «r, i i — ■
