MR THEODORE SAYS FEDERAL GOVERNMENT WILL NOT TOLERATE FORCE

Rec. Nov. 5, 9.45 p.m. SYDNEY, Thusday. Mr. E. G. Theodore, the Federal Treasurer, in a statement to-day, declared that the Commonwealth Government was convinced that the aotivities of the New Guard could develop into a serious menace and the Government would not tolerate any attempt to usurp military authority by any unofficial armed force of any pretext.
