STATEMENT OF AIMS "EVERY COMMUNIST MUST BE DEPORTED WITHIIN FOUR MONTHS" SOVIET LEGISLATION IN N.S.W.

SYDNEY, Thursday. Addressing»a great erowd at Rockdale, Colonel Campbell, the leader, said that the New Guard was deterbined that every Communist must be out of Australia within four months. New South Wales to-day was virtually under "Red" control, he said. "Our . elected representatives," he added, "consciously or unconsciously are making the Communists' task easier by their Soviet legislation. "It is quite constitutional for the : Governor to dissolve Parliament, and the New Guard is at present eonsidering the advisability of organising to this end. The Government must declare Communism; an offence punishable by deportation. "If the Government is so blind as to refuse this request we must carefully consider whether or not it is our duty ta put these people out ourselves." Because of threats of violenee Colonel Campbell and the members of his family have bodyg-uards. It is stated in political Labour circles that the Government has referred the recent public utterances of a number of prominent members of the New Guard to the Crown Law Department for an opinion as to whether any breach of the law had been committed. Armistice Day. His Worship the Mayor, Mr. T. Jackson, has been advised by the Rt. Hon. the Prime Minister, that his .Majesty the King has approved the usual formi of service to mark the 13th anniversary of Armistice" Day, which falls next Wednesday. Two minutes' silence will be observed throughout the Empire at 11 a.m.
