CITY DEFEATS OLE> BOYS The cricket mateh played on the High School grounds on Saturday, resulted in a win for City by 79 runs a four-point win. City, in their first innings, made 101 runs, top scorers being Mason, 18; George, 17; Young> 13; Alexander, 11, and Hewson and Scott, 10 eaeh. In the second innings, the top scorers were Harding 53, not out, Alexander 20, Young 15, Mason 11. The total for the innings was 121, making City's total for the match 222 runs. For Old Boys the top scorers in the first innings were Mitchell 17, Lewis 16, and Kelly 12, the total for the innings being 70 runs. In their second innings the side scored 73 runs, top scorers being Matthews 22, Godsalve 17, and Neeson 13. The match total was 143.
