ELLIS CUP SEMI-FINALS AT HAMILTON MISS KAY AND MRS MANDER

HAMILTON, Wed. The Hamilton Ladies' Golf Club's open tournament was continued at St. Andrew's this morning, when the second round of the Ellis Cup series was decided. This afternoon the semi-finals of the Ellis Cup were played. The final will be decided to-morrow afternoon commencing at the first tee at 2 o'clock. Following were the results: — ELLIS CUP Second Round Miss O. Kay (Otago) beat Mrs R. Bourke (Cambridge), 7 and 6. Mrs J. Wilson (Auckland) beat Mrs L. Day (Hamilton), 4 and 3. Mrs F. Mander (Hamilton) beat Mrs Bray (Paeroa), 1 up. Mrs G. B. Bartlett (Hamilton) beat Miss N. Noakes (Auckland), 1 up. Semi-Finals Miss O. Kay beat Mrs J. Wilson, 7 and 5. Mrs F. Mander beat Mrs G. B. Bartlett, 5 and 4.
