CLAIM FOR NEW AWARD WELLINGTON, Thursday. The Arbitration Court to-day heard a claim for a new award governing the Wellington Motion Picture Projectionists Union. Mr J. Read, who appeared for the union, stated that the greater part of the dispute has been settled. The • main question for the Court was that of wages, which were based on award rates operating at present in Australia. . Mr W. Mountjoy, on behalf of the employers, opposed the claim for increased wages. The case is proceeding.
