FIRST BOGEY MATCH l During the morning, the first bogey | handicap competition in conjunction ; with the Rattray Cup was decided. | The event was originally set down I for the opening day of the tourna- | ment but had to be postponed owing | to rain. The handicap was won by j Miss N. Innes (Manawatu) with a I score of 1 down. Miss C. Bray (Titi- ! rangi) returned the best card in the J opposite division with a score of two : down. Other good cards returned : were: Miss F. Rathbone (Auckland), | 2 down; Miss R. Pharazyn (Napier), j 2 down; Mrs D. Stout (Wellington), 3 down; Miss O. Stevens (Pupuke), i 3 down; Miss E. M. Upton (Auckland), 3 down; Mrs T. Parata (RoI torua), 3 down; Miss M. White. (Napier), 3 down. The Rattray Cup for the best aggregate score in the two bogey competitions was won by Mrs D. Stout. Mrs Stout tied in this event with Miss R. Pharazyn, both with a score of six down, but Mrs Stout took the trophy two up with her score over the last nine holes in each bogey match.
