SYDNEY, Thursday. The financial editor of the "Daily Telegraph" says: "Australla's national income will recover by £900,000,000 during the current year if the present higher prices are main•tained. In the last four weeks the values of industrial seeurities increased by £80,000,000 on the Stoelc Exchange and many leading stocks yesterday touched the highest level for months. Wool prices are up 25 per cent. with the world buying strongly. Wheat jumped from 2s 3d to 2s lOd a bushel; lead is up 21 per cent. and silver 35 per cent." The writer points out that although a slight relapse must be expected, the market is growing stronger on a solid foundation.
