ALARM IN INDIA

CALCUTTA, Sunday. Gold is being exported from India to England, America and Holland on an enormous scale, one steamer today carrying £1,500,000 worth. This is causing alarm in Indian circles and Indian merchants are calling on the Government to place an embargo on the export of gold.
