WELLINGTON, Wednesday. The Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes, stated to-night that it would not be possible for the interparty economy committee to complete its deliberations in time to'enable a report or reports to be presented to the House of Representatives to-night. It is expected that the Prime Minister will ask the House to revert to evening sittings for ihe remainder of this week with the object of leaving the committee free to finish its work and tabl its recommendations early next week, if not earlier. The committee sat until midnight, last nighf and adjourned until li o'clock this morning. The sitting this morning was shorter than usual, but the committee . met again this afternoon.
