LUCK OF A CLERK
BUSINESS AS A LEGACY. Estate of the gross value of £13,691 with net personalty £12,521 was left by Mr John Sutton Burnett, builder, of Treherne Road, Jesmond, New-castle-upon-Tyne. He left the goodwill, stock in trade, machinery, etc., of the business carried on by him at Birtley and elsewhere under the name of Joseph Burnett and Son, free of duty, to his clerk of works, William Walker, of Birtley, Durham. The residue of his property was bequeathed to his widow.
