TYRE TRACTION IN WINTER. To prevent the danger of skidding in winter it is essential to discard tyres that are worn-o'ut. The safety of you and yours depends largely, in this weather, on your tyres. No matter how efficient your brakes may be if your tyres won't grip and hold j fast you are. running grave risks . unnecesarily. All motorists are well J advised to replace worn smoqth tyres with brantd new ones. "You need not sacrifice the mileage left in your old covers — store them in your gapage till summer when you can wear them out in safety.
