WELLINGTON, Thursday. The duties of the inter-party committee secretariat, the appointment of which was announced yesterday, will be to condense the evidence taken by the conference and present it to the delegates in collated form; to 'ndicate to the parties appearing before the conference the lines along which evidence is desired, and to collect information and data which will be helpful to the conference in its deliberatlon. They will also advise ohe conference as to the calling of fresh evidence.
