A RUSSIAN REPORT.
STUBBORN FIGHTING FOR TOBOLY OVERCOMING IMMENSE DIFFICULTIES. Received August 21, 11 a.m. London, August 20. A Russian communique states; — We captured Cherviche farm and several heights on Stokhod. There was stubborn fighting for Toboly, which changed hands several times, and remains in onr possession. We captured heights westward of Zablonitza and Yoronka, and repulsed attacks against our heights north of Kirlibaba. Fighting continues in the direction of Diarbekan. We are overcoming difficulties on an almost inaccessible ridge westward of Bingledan mountains. Fighting continues southwest ot Urmi Lake.
