TURKS IN A NEW ROLE WELCOMED DELIVERERS. London, August 19. Correspondents at Lemberg describe the frantic joy of the Austrian troops and population in welcoming Turkish sailors and soldiers. RUSSIAN CONTINUOUS CAPTURE. ADVANCING ON THE STOKHOO. FIERCE FIGHTING IN MESOPOTAMIA Petrograd. Aug. 19. A communique states: We captured portion of the enemy positions westward of Labe Nobel, and considerably advanced near Oernisce, on the Stokhod. where'we broke the enemy’s position, capturing the village of Toboly. Fierce battles in the direction of Diabekive (Mesopotamia) took place.
