AUSTRIAN COLLAPSE POSSIBLE. MUST BE PROPPED BY CERMANY London, August 15. The Daily Telegraph’s Milan correspondent says: It is believed that as the outcome of Hollweg and Jagow’s mission to Vienna, Count Andrassy will succeed Baron Bnrian as Minister of Foreign Affairs, The former is intensely Germanophile. The change will signify a closer Austro-German union.
The Neue Frei Presse says Austria is being attacked on all sides. The collapse of Austria would mean the immineht downfall of Germany. Therefore Austria must be saved at all costs, jeven to handing political as well as military direction tc Berlin.
