The ooalmasters’ and men’s delegates afterwards discussed the position, but failed to agree and adjourned till the 23nd. Eight thousand men are affected. The South Wales ooalmasters proposed a reduction of 7)4 P er osnt, but the men declined to accept it. The matter has been referred to Viscount St. Aldwyn, Chairman of the Conciliation Board.
