A LITTLE BILL.
A QUEENSLANDER’S DEMAND,
United Press Association. —By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Brisbane, May 5. A ' Queenslander, describing himself, as the discoverer of the first payable gold in Queensland, has sent a bill to Mr Fisher for £11,735,000. He claims £36,000 for nine discoveries of gold, £BBB,OOO as interest on that sum since 1861, and £11,537.000 as his share of the minerals produced in the State since 1860. He asked for a settlement of his claim within 14 days to save further trouble.
