LONDON WOOL SALES.

HIGH PRICES FOR A WAIRARAPA OLIP. Advices to hand state that Mr W. E, Bidwell’a well-known Rototawai clip realised top prices at the London wool sales, held in January, hall the fleece wool making Is per lb, while the whole clip, including locks and pieces, averaged over 9d per lb. The above are probably the highest average prices made for a large line of New Zealand Romney wool either in London or the Dominion this season, and speaks volumes for the manner in which the Rototawai wool is grown and prepared for sale. The above clip was Qaiboll-dippsd, and it is surely more than a mere coincidence to find the men who stand out moat prominently in the Australasian sheep-breading world to-day enthusiastic supporters of these preparations, and testifying to their beneficial effects both to the sheep and the growing fleece.
