ACCIDENT ON THE RAILWAY.

MAN SERIOUSLY INJURED. Press Association. Dannevirke, March 12. On Wednesday afternoon two railway employees were proceeding along the line between Woodville and Dannevirke on a trolley, when they were overtaken by a special engine. Both men jumped off the trolley, but the engine knocked it on top of one of the men named Smart, who had a leg broken. He was removed to the hospital, where the leg was set and the patient appeared to' be doing all right until late last evening, when he became unconscious, and is now lying in a critical condition. No hope is entertained of his recovery.
