ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.

Per Press Association Westport, June 14. A painful fatality occurred to-day. A i*u. Richard Kearse, 17 years of age, while playing in a junior football match yesterday afternoon into collision with a player on his own side, getting a severe blow in the abdomen, and died at 4 p.m. today. Christchurch, June 14, Information was received to-day from Constable Bird, Oulverden, that a married woman named Mary Oolilns, had been burned to death at Waiau last night. No further particulars had been received.
