Auckland, June 4; The’ Auckland Rugby Union received to-day a. protest for conveyance to the New Zealand Rugby Union against the match between the Dominion Maori team and the British footballers (which is to be played at Rotorua) being arranged by a body (the Maori Association) 1 not affiliated to' the New Zealand Rugby Union. The_ Rotorua Union consider that the right of arrangement belongs to'them, and object to being ignored by the parent body, and the powers delegated to an outside body.
