MEETINGS OP HOUSEHOLDERS. RATA. Messrs F. J. McDonald 'chairman, H. W. Saunders secretary, J. Dunham, J. Fraser, O. Green, P. O’Grady, J. West. MATAROA. Messrs W. McOonnou gchairman, G. Mortley secretary, W. Hedges, D. Macdonald, T. Donald, Richards and Morris. CARNARVON. The annual meeting of householders was not well attended. The report stated that the building and ground of Makowhai side school was much improved, although much remained to he done. The balancesheet showed total receipts, inclusive of balance from last year, £2B 18s; expenditure £2l lls leaving a credit of £7 6s B%d. The following were elected :—Messrs Rockel, Low, Lumsden, Milligan, Schultz, Jessop and Goebel, Mr Rockel was elected chairman.
