A deputation, representing various large Colonial insurance companies, interviewed the Board of Trade urging that companies unable to register here under the Companies Act should be allowed to carry on business without inconvenience, getting a license under the Tormain Act for each transaction.

Mr Eearley, Parliamentary Secretay, on behalf of Mr Lloyd George, while sympathetic, doubted the possibility of legislation to relieve the hampering restrictions this session, unless satisfied there would be no opposition.
