ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.

Press Association. Gisborne, March 35. A man named Thomas Rogers was drowned in the Hangaroa river near Tiniroto. Deceased, in company with Edgar Wallace, a sheep farmer, of Tiniroto, was crossing the river which was in a state of flood, when his horse got carried away and the unfortunate man washed off and drowned. The body has not yet been recovered.
