FEILDING A. & P SHOW.

Ifesterday there was a record attendance and* keen interest was taken by visitors. Among the exhibits Which helpecUto give diversity and added interest to the Show was the very nice exhibition of bicycles by Mr W. B. . Watson, of the Revolution Cycle Co,, Feilding. Here were shown B.S.A. machines with parts fitted with Eadie coasters and all other accessories, complete - for the moderate price of £l2, a guarantee being given with the machine. A high-grade English made machine with B.S.A. parts and all necessary equipment was offered to the public at the low price of £7 10s. Messrs Barraud & Abraham made a neat display of seeds, chiefly from the great Sutton firm, England. This firm, whose immense business place' is at Reading, and are growers on a large scale themselves, with a hundred years’ experience to guide them has probably , the best standing of any in the world, for all the aid which can be gained from the latest scientific researches the firm freely and promptly make use of, so that in putting before their clients the seeds of this Company, Messrs Barraud and Abraham offer them the best procurable. The Argyle Cycle Company (Mr G. Barry & Co. ) made a good display of their well-known machines. One recently introduced is the tradesman’s bicycle, with strong basket carrier. There were eight different models exhibited, including the Argyle, fitted with a tworspeed hub gear. This machine makes a good appearance, fitted as it is with Dunlop, tyres, Brooks saddle, Reynold’s chain, and metal gear case. The well-finished Ormond cycle should find a ready sale at £lO. Mr Adam Burges exhibited the Hoover Potato Digger. The best recommendation of this machine, perhaps, was given by a recent purchaser of one, who in a letter to Mr Burges said he had used one about fan hour and four men picked up after it 48 sacks, being four tons of table potatoes, leaving a number of small ones to be picked up afterwards. The machine will pick them up if they are as small as marbles. Mr W. Clarkson exhibited a nice lot of Premier and Centaur bicycles, ' the former fitted with oil bath gear cases, helical tubing, and two speed gears. The Centaur bicycles ; were fitted with two-speed gear and coastal hubs. The firm was offering a wellmade English bicycle for £6 IDs. Mr N. Andrew exhibited a portable oil engine and the Farmers’ Motor Company made a good exhibition of motors and accessories. There were two firms showing vehicles and there were several side shows, that helped to add interest and a general holiday appearance to the ground. The gate takings were about £250 and the estimated attendance was from eight to ten thousand.
