At a meeting of the Rifle Association, Major Richardson described his tour in Australia, and expressed his appreciation of the hospitality received at all places. He was sure the experience would do good to rifle shooting in Great Britain. The Australians’ constant practice at longer ranges than in vogue here, largely contributed to their success. RUAHINE RIFLE ASSOCIATION’S MEETING. Pei' Press Association. Dannevirke, February 5. The first annual meeting of the Ruahiue Rifle Association was held on the Dannevirke range on Tuesday and Wednesday, and proved thoroughly successful. About 65 competitors took part, including representatives from Wellington, Opaki, Taradale.and the districts surrounding Dannevirke.
