Press Association. Dargavi lie. February 3. A fire at Kachie on Sunday morning destroyed a block of buildings comprising Oliver’s store, G. Lincham’s store and billiard room, J. Lincham’s store and dwelling. The insurances are £I3OO. The loss is much in excess of that amount. Hastings, February 3. A fire was discovered in the Hawke’s Bay Motor Garage on Saturday at 10 p.m., between the lining boards and the dividing wall. The fire was promptly extinguished. There is a strong suspicion of incen- ' arism and the police are investigate :..g the case."
