MR HALDANE ON THE NAVY.

Speaking at the dinner of the Worshipful Company of Salters, Mr Haldane insisted that success in war now depended upon the strategy of the navy, which must he kept up to a condition of efficiency for war so as to he able to pulverise the enemy.
