Dmiiie, Commissioner 01 Police, was playing bowls on the Welliugfcon Club's green tins aituxnoou, and in walking across stepped on ;i bowl, ami iurecovcnutf.hiuiselt he stepped on another, breaking ma left leg just above the ankle. Drs. Ewarfc and Boyd tound t.uvt both bones of the leg wero broken. . Mr Diunie was* taken to Ins home, where the leg was set.
