Auckland v. Taranaki. Per Press Association. ArcitLAKD, September 20. The final match of the present football season will bo played hero to-morrow between Auckland and Taranaki. Hie Taranaki team arrived by the Takapuna this morning. They have a very strong side, especially aigong t he backs, .Humer, Mynott and Coloinau bomg included in this division. Taranaki beat Auckland when the teams previously mot, and the homo team, strengthened by the inclusion of Tyler, Nicholson and Kiernan, is very keen on turning the tables. Hargreaves, t.ho Taranaki full-back, may arrive tomorrow, in which case ho will be played, Kivell going up to whig three-quarters, and Gtfodwin 'being emergency. Cunningham, of tho local team, is to bo married to-morrow, and will not play. Tho scrum will be locked by McGuire, and Hall will be played in the back row. Mr E. Oliphant has' been appointed referee. [Auckland will not ha defending tho Eaufurly Shield on this occasion, as the Taranaki Union is not covetous of this expensivo-to-hold trophy.
